Business development, which is important to remain competitive, often requires investment. Certainly, when it comes to sustainable investments, provinces, national governments and the European Union recognise the importance of this. They encourage research, development and collaboration by granting subsidies.
With each investment, it is therefore well worth the effort to find out if you are eligible for a subsidy. A development investment in an environmentally-related invention, for example, could qualify for a 50 percent subsidy.
